The Oswego Players latest production, Frederick Stroppel’s dramatic comedy ‘The Christmas Spirit’. will be led by three time director Troy Pepper. Mr. Pepper directed a number of Player’s productions since becoming involved with the organization including Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit, and last year’s well thought of version of ‘Born Yesterday’ ‘ I like to bring back the old classic plays, that haven’t been seen for awhile,’ Mr. Pepper stated recently. ‘Sometimes, older is better particularly in comedy.’
The Oswego Children’s Theater has completed casting for their next production, a Holiday Twin Bill of two one act plays. “The Best Christmas Pageant Everâ€ÂÂand “Our Christmas Carolâ€ÂÂ.
The Oswego Players and The Church of the Resurrection will present Neil Simon’s popular comedy “Barefoot in the Park” on the evenings of Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 at the church The production, directed by veteran director, Inez Manor Parker, is the sixth annual collaboration between the Church of the Resurrection and the Oswego Players.
Folk singer/songwriter Madeline and the eclectic stylings of Andy Cook and the Wander Loons will launch the new Indie Series at SUNY Oswego on Friday, Nov. 7.
