Orphan Train Provides An Entertaining Ride

The latest production from Oswego County’s newest theatrical group, Port City Theatre, The Orphan Train, written by well-known children’s playwright Aurand Harris, tells the poignant stories of nine children who were among the thousands of unwanted orphans taken from the streets and back alleys of New York City and shipped by train to farming communities in the Midwest to start new lives with new families.

Four Degrees Of Separation To Open May 31

The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of a new exhibition called Four Degrees of Separation featuring the artwork of Paul Garland, Nick D’Innocenzo, Sewall Oertling and Thomas Seawell. The exhibition will open with a reception for the artists on May 31 from 6-9 p.m. at the Oswego Civic Arts Center.
