I just adopted a kitten, Sophie, from the Humane Society and the next day she came down with terrible diarrhea. My neighbor told me it was probably something called giardia, and that a lot of adopted kittens have it and I should return her and demand my money back.
I sometimes rescue cats and dogs that I find that appear to be lost or abandoned and if I can’t find the owner, I then try to find them new homes on my own. A friend of mine told me I could be charged with stealing because they are really not my animals.

Sorry to be repetitious, but last week, when we warned you about possible Salmonella contamination in certain varieties of dog foods manufactured by Diamond Pet Foods at its South Carolina plant, it turns out that may have been only the tip of the iceberg.
The ongoing investigation by the FDA and state officials has determined that some brands of dry pet food produced by Diamond Pets Foods at a manufacturing facility in South Carolina have now been linked to human Salmonella infections. No cases of dog illness have been reported yet.

Sorry to have to bring up such a nasty subject, but my cat Cleo has really bad breath. Since nothing that I say to her about it seems to work, (as always she just ignores any criticism) I thought I would turn to you for help. What could be causing it and what should I do?
