The Phoenix Central School District recently announced its participation in the Summer Food Service Program, which will provide free lunch for all children up to 18 years old. Meals will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays to Fridays from July 6 to Aug. 12 in the Michael A. Maroun Elementary School Intermediate café.

The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center, located at 748 State Route 183 near Williamstown, presents many programs throughout the year where youth and adults can learn about and observe nature first-hand. This July offers two programs featuring the birds and flowers of summer.
