The February Oswego High School “Athletes of the Month” were recognized recently. Each received a $25 gift certificate for Canale’s.
Members of the Oswego Health Auxiliary presented three scholarships recently along with a fourth scholarship given by the Twigs, a volunteer group, which was founded in 1907 to raise money for Oswego Hospital. Each scholarship allows an employee to advance their education in the healthcare field.
On April 6 at 9 and 11 a.m., New Zealander Dr. Jonathan Sarfati will be teaching from Genesis, the first book in the Bible, about “Design, Deluge, and Dilemma.” This is an wonderful opportunity to hear an amazing brain teach on a topic that has raised many questions over the centuries.
The Crane Opera Ensemble will present a pair of “angelic” one-act operas this spring, with performances on April 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music.
