U.S. Senator Charles Schumer announced Wednesday (March 26) that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has approved primary county disaster designations for five New York counties, due to losses caused by freeze that occurred December 1, 2013. Those counties are: Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Oswego and Yates.
On April 18 the annual Good Friday Cross Walk, sponsored by the Greater Fulton Area Council of Christian Churches, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Holy Trinity Parish, 309 Buffalo St.

Royalty was dancing as the kindergarten students at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School celebrated the culmination of the “king and queen module” with a dance. Students learned about royalty, customs, how life was in that time period and other subjects associated with the kings and queens.
