The Residents of Michaud Residential Health Services saw a very special preview of the G. Ray Bodley High School – Quirk’s Players upcoming performance of “Curtains.” Students brought the production to Michaud and performed selections from the exciting murder mystery Broadway musical.

The New York State Sheriffs’ Association Institute will begin its annual Honorary Membership drive in Oswego County within the next few days according to Sheriff Reuel Todd. The institute was established in 1979. It is a not-for-profit corporation, tax exempt organization, and contributions to the Institute are tax deductible.

SUNY Oswego School of Education faculty member Jacquelyn Kibbey will coordinate a multigenerational art exhibition titled “Generations IV: A Master of Arts in Teaching Exhibition” starting March 14, in Tyler Hall’s Tyler Art Gallery. The exhibition, running through April 19, will kick off at 5 p.m. March 14, with an artists’ reception at the gallery. It is free and open to the public.
Oswego County Federal Credit Union unites with the Pacheco family to present the annual Run for Dennis 5K event to benefit bladder cancer advocacy and research. The race is set for March 15 – rain, snow or shine – in honor of Dennis Pacheco.
Replacement batteries have been mailed to county residents who have an emergency planning tone-alert weather radio from the Oswego County Emergency Management Office. Director Dale A. Currier said that replacement batteries are mailed to residents on an annual basis to ensure proper operation of these radios.
