SUNY Oswego has bestowed $1,000 Merit Awards on a select group of transfer students starting at the college this fall.
Oswego County AmeriCorps member Stacey Petersen is hosting a donation that will benefit Pulaski students of all ages from Pre-K to 12th grade. This summer, sneakers and socks are being collected of all sizes to benefit the students and children of the Pulaski community.
The Oswego Public Library’s Library Learning Center will offer a Networking Basics workshop on August 10 from 10 a.m. to noon. In this free class, the instructor will discuss the Open Systems Interconnection model, network topology, basic hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.

Dozens of community members and visitors filled the Clubhouse Tavern for the United Way’s eighth annual Harborfest Breakfast. Committee members and volunteers kept busy cooking and serving breakfast all morning as those eager support Stuff-A-Bus gathered to enjoy breakfast and support a worthwhile project.
The Oswego Players’ 75th Anniversary Dinner will take place on August 23. As of this writing, a few tickets are still available for $35 each. Entertainment for the evening will be a play written by Oswego’s own Dr. Michael Nupuf based on the book, “O.R.,” written by Steve Abbott and Dr. John Fountain.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified home health care, long-term home health care, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.

Kappa Delta Pi, International Honor Society in Education, founded by Dr. William Bagley in 1911 at the University of Illinois, was established to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching.
