To be eligible for the Dean’s List at St. Lawrence University, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of 3.6 (based on a perfect 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Carissa Reed of Oswego has earned High Honors for the spring semester of the 2012-2013 academic year at the University of New Hampshire. Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance.

Oswego High School junior Nina Alcasid will present a solo piano recital at 3 p.m. on June 23 at The Church of the Resurrection, 120 W. Fifth St., Oswego. The program is free and open to the public. And, those who would like to, may donate to the Oswego Hospital Auxiliary.
The Frederick Leighton Elementary School Home and School Association hosted the 13th annual “All-You-Can-Eat” pancake breakfast to raise funds for the school’s annual Circus Program for the 2013-14 school year. It took place from 8:30 a.m. to noon on June 9 at the Oswego Elks Lodge, 132 W. Fifth St.
