The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, a division of SUNY Oswego’s Office of Business and Community Relations, will hold a volunteer orientation for retired or semi-retired adults at 10 a.m. Jan. 22, at the Oswego Public Library community room.

Do you need assistance preparing for the May 2013 SAT? The Oswego County BOCES Distance Learning Program will host SAT Prep Classes on Wednesdays from March 13 to April 24.

The students at the Frederick Leighton Elementary School competed for the opportunity to earn a position in this year’s Scripps National Spelling Bee regional.

Auditions will be held Jan. 29 and 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Feb. 2 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at CNY Arts Center’s new facility in State Street Methodist Church, 357 State St., Fulton.
