The Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County invites you to join them for a great time for a great cause.  As part of the annual Warm Up Oswego celebration, the CAC will hold its second annual Chicken Wing and Micro-Brew Fest.

“A typical breakfast with Santa event is often too much for our individuals to handle,” said Marie Smith, program coordinator at PSC. “By creating a relaxed setting, having space available for the jumping and hand-flapping and volunteers that are patient and understanding of those with special needs, is key to an enjoyable time.”

The annual “Halfway to Harborfest” chicken BBQ and fundraiser will be held on January 26 at Gibby’s Irish Pub. The event is always a popular reminder that the upcoming Harborfest is just six
months away.

The Master Gardener program of Oswego County provides training to individuals, who, in turn, use their knowledge to work with Cooperative Extension office to extend information throughout their communities.

Ladies of Oswego and Onondaga counties, you are invited to our second “Wings of Grace Ministry” event on Feb. 2 at the Pulaski Assembly of God Church at 228 County Route 62, Pulaski.

The Friends of History In Fulton, N Y, Inc. will hold a “Tailgate” Winter Warming Cocktail Fundraising party on January 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the John Wells Pratt House local history museum, 177 S. First St.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently conferred 190 baccalaureate and graduate degrees to students who graduated from the College in December 2012.

The Wear It! Oswego campaign reminds the public to take the proper precautions when recreating on or near the water during the winter.

Held on a Saturday afternoon in December at the Elks Lodge #830 in Fulton, the event was an overwhelming success, raising more than $9,500 to help with Collins’ medical expenses.
