Cheryl Lindsay, dean of Enrollment and Chief International Officer at Cayuga Community College was recently welcomed as a new member of the Fulton Rotary Club.

Last year’s Regatta was a success, raising more than $21,000 to support Oswego County Hospice patients and their families. For the fifth consecutive year, Constellation Energy Nuclear Group is the major sponsor of the event.

On May 15, from 6 to 8 p.m., the Oswego Public Library Community Room welcomes Eileen Parsons as she reads from and discusses her book, The First Rose of Summer. The librrary is at 120 E. Second St. across from the County Courthouse in Oswego.

Each month, the Fulton Rotary Club invites two seniors from G. Ray Bodley High School to share their high school experiences and talk about their plans after high school graduation.

Hannibal Central School will again be offering Pre-K classes for the 2012-2013 school year. This program is available for children residing in the Hannibal Central School District.

The Nutrition Collaboration of Oswego County invites interested community members to join them for an informational meeting regarding the Fulton Community Garden project.

On Wednesday May 2, students from Cristina O’Hara’s Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School art classes competed against hundreds of schools at the Olympics of the Visual Arts (OVA) in Saratoga Springs and took home the Most Creative Fashion Design Award.

Sabine Ingerson, director of Oswego County ARISE, recently presented a program to the Fulton Rotary Club.

On May 12, the society will be open all day. At noon our monthly lunch meeting will take place, discussion will center on the 2012 Oswego County Fair set up and Heritage Building activities. Following this meeting from 2-6 there will be a special research afternoon with area historians and volunteers on hand to assist patrons with family tree research.
