In addition to the usual motorcycle ride through the Oswego County countryside, there will be a one-mile bicycle or adaptive cycle ride through Fort Ontario.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum Complex, located on the West First Street Pier in Oswego’s Historic Maritime District, will be open free of charge this weekend, May 19 and 20.

Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I – Pulaski) said today a bill that would prohibit fleeing felons from obtaining public assistance has been stonewalled in the Assembly-Democratic controlled house.

Milk comes from the beautiful farms of New York and there are over 100 dairy farms in Oswego County. Therefore the Dairy Promotion Committee is looking for candidates to be the 2012-2013 Oswego County Dairy Princess.

The 31st Annual Memorial Day Salute, May 25th and 26th, held at the Fulton Community Center on WestBroadway, will feature a regional favorite, Domicolo and Barlow. This popular band will perform on Friday night, May 25th at 7 PM. and will be sponsored by National Grid.

Nearly 110 students at SUNY Oswego, including local residents, received awards at the college’s spring Honors Convocation.

Great prize giveaways, excitement, fun, food and live music by “Jimmy D and the Jury” are all part of the annual St. Luke “Bundle of Bucks” charity raffle event, including the drawing for fifteen cash prizes totaling up to $25,000 with a top prize of $10,000 to a lucky winner!

Cocktails will be served at 6:30 p.m. with dinner set for 7 p.m. at the AOH. Tickets for the event can be purchase at any veterans organization throughout the city.
