Investigation at the scene revealed that Kaleena G. Brown, 33, from 16 Baratier Road, Hastings, had lost control of her vehicle and exited the roadway striking an earth embankment and a mailbox. Troopers further determined she was allegedly intoxicated and was in possession of marijuana.
Some decorations in front of Fulton’s Towpath Towers caught fire earlier this morning (Nov.4). A passerby spotted smoke coming from bales of hay near the front doors of the apartment building. The fire was contained to the hay.
On Tuesday (November 1), at approximately 4:20 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 3 in the town of Volney for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. The operator was found to be operating with a suspended license and without a required interlock device, according to police. Subsequent investigation resulted in the arrest of her and 2 passengers on drug charges.

An identified Korean War casualty has found his final resting place in his hometown of Fulton 66 years after his death. Cpl. Joseph Trepasso was welcomed back to his hometown by a veteran motorcade with dozens of people lining the streets in his honor throughout the entire route beginning in Syracuse.
The route for Cpl. Trepasso’s procession in the city of Fulton has been changed. The procession is expected to arrive in Fulton between noon and 12:30 p.m. today (Nov. 1).
Central New York residents are encouraged to pay their respects to a deceased Korean War veteran whose remains are being returned to Fulton on Tuesday, Nov. 1. Cpl. Joseph Trepasso of Fulton is being re-patriated back home after being identified as a casualty of the Korean War.

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency announced today (Oct. 28) that the remains of a U.S. serviceman, missing from the Korean War, have been identified and will be returned to his family for burial with full military honors. Army Cpl. Joseph Trepasso, 20, of Fulton, will be buried Nov. 5 in his hometown.
