Plans Under Way For Fulton Community Thanksgiving Dinner

An organizing committee consisting of representatives of several Fulton churches and The Salvation Army is busy planning the 11th annual dinner. Financial donations are still needed for this year’s Community Thanksgiving Dinner to be held on November 24 at First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St.

Fulton Honors Veterans, Recognizes 2017 Veteran of the Year

The Fulton Veterans Council, headed by President Garry Visconti, led a well attended Veterans Day ceremony in the city of Fulton. Dozens of community residents, local elected officials, law enforcement, and veterans themselves braved the chilly winds off the Oswego River as they stood around the many flags that fly with pride at Veterans Park. The crowd then relocated to a local luncheon to recognize 2017 Veteran of the Year, Larry Macner.

Fulton Common Council Schedules Two Public Hearings

The Fulton Common Council has scheduled two public hearings to take place on November 15. The first public hearing is in regards to a resolution to override the local tax levy cap. A second public hearing will be held considering a proposal to amend local law regarding storage of over-sized recreational vehicles.
