Donations Warm Great Bear Springs Recreation Area

FULTON – This past weekend was the setting for Random Acts of Warmth and Kindness at Great Bear Springs Recreation Area.

A local knitting and crocheting group of ladies decorated the Apple Trail and Alec’s Trail.

Handknitted and crocheted hats, mittens, cowls and scarves were made.

They were placed along the trails – free for the taking.

A couple items have already been claimed.

There are things left both adults and children.

Any unclaimed item(s) will be removed by the group at the end of the week.

It’s a thoughtful and kind gift by these ladies to the members of our community, a representative for Friends of Great Bear said.
