On March 11 at 1 p.m., the Oswego Public Library will present author Susan Savion in its Community Room located on the lower level of the library (120 E. Second St). Savion, author of “Quoting Matilda” will discuss her newly published book and the life of Matilda Gage.
Local students and members of the Oswego County American Legion Post 268 teamed up to ensure that The Manor’s skilled nursing residents, rehab patients and Adults Day Health Services participants, all received a handmade Valentine’s Day card.
Oswego Speedway will again provide ample camping space for race fans at all regular season events in 2017, located at the bottom of the Albany Street/Nolan Swift Memorial Drive hill in the newly renovated flats camping lot. The flats lot now features paved grindings throughout, washrooms for patrons, as well as full utilities including electric, water, and dump stations.

The New York State Police continue to investigate the 1980 murder of 28-year-old Stephen Forbes. On July 11, 1980, Forbes of the Village Green Apartments in Baldwinsville, was reported missing by family members. Forbes was a business partner in the “Novel -T Shirt Store” on Route 48, Phoenix.
