Sunrise Rotary Learns About Fort Ontario

FULTON – At a  recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia introduced Paul Lear, site superintendent at Fort Ontario.

Lear spoke about the many on-going projects at the fort including remodeling of the officers’ quarters, repairing roads and walkways and the upgrading of all utilities and technology.

He spoke of the history of the fort, announcing an exciting Fort Ontario history and archeology conference with perspectives on warfare and conflict.

This conference will be held April 21-23 at the Best Western Hotel in Oswego.
