Fire crews remain on the scene of a fire earlier tonight (Jan. 8) at the Sunoco ethanol plant in Volney. The fire was reportedly in an empty warehouse, that is going to be demolished, at the site. Nearly a dozen crews were dispatched to the to the scene at the former Miller plant on Route 57. The blaze was brought under control around 8 p.m.
The day after Mother Nature dumped nearly two feet of snow on the city of Fulton, the streets were clear and it was business as usual as city leaders conducted the first council meeting of the year Tuesday (Jan. 6) evening.
