The investigation revealed that a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Sarah J. Teifke, 24, was eastbound on County Route 45 and a 2004 Western Dump Truck, driven by George D. Preeman, 61, was northbound on State Route 481. The Pontiac Sunfire failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the dump truck on the passenger’s side, troopers said.
In nominating the building, the state Board for Historic Preservation wrote of the church, “the 1894 Romanesque-inspired religious building is historically representative of the prominence that the city of Fulton obtained during the late 19th century as a major commercial and manufacturing hub on New York’s canal system.”

In a ceremony at the college’s Fulton campus, the student organization’s leadership team presented a check for $1,000 to Peter Allen, the founder and Executive Director of the Thank a Service Member Charity, a local organization whose mission is to “honor the service and support the needs” of military veterans.
State Police have arrested Shawn Hennessy, 17, of 171 Malverne St., Syracuse. He was charged with Assault 1st Degree, a Class B Felony following a six-week investigation. The arrest stems from an incident occurring outside of a residence October 27 on Voorhees Road in the town of Parish.
