Computer service will be interrupted Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 26, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Fulton Department of Motor Vehicles Office in the county Branch Office Building, 200 N. Second St.

The investigation revealed that a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Sarah J. Teifke, 24, was eastbound on County Route 45 and a 2004 Western Dump Truck, driven by George D. Preeman, 61, was northbound on State Route 481. The Pontiac Sunfire failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by the dump truck on the passenger’s side, troopers said.
In nominating the building, the state Board for Historic Preservation wrote of the church, “the 1894 Romanesque-inspired religious building is historically representative of the prominence that the city of Fulton obtained during the late 19th century as a major commercial and manufacturing hub on New York’s canal system.”
