Fulton Man Arrested after fleeing from Accident Scene in Salina

North Syracuse, NY – State Police in North Syracuse investigated a one-car accident that occurred around 11 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 81 in the Town of Salina, Onondaga County.

The investigation revealed that Jeffery C. Freeman, age 30, from 16 W. 11th St., in the city of Fulton, was northbound on Interstate 81 when he lost control of a 1995 Toyota Corolla, causing the vehicle to exit off the east side of the highway, striking a fence and subsequently a tree.

Freeman then exited the vehicle and fled the scene prior to patrols arrival, according to the police report.

Troopers were able locate Freeman in the city of Fulton. He was reportedly wanted by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office on a traffic warrant.

Freeman was charged with Leaving the scene of a property damage accident, Unlicensed Operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

He was taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $7,500 bail. missing or outdated ad config

  1. thats really sad ,, they go all the way up to fulton to grab this guy to bring back to syracuse ,and most likey sets his bail at a high cost , but it’s amazing how they treat people who get charged with rape or child porn , or messing around with a kid ,,, they let them walk the streets ,, great job !!!
