In the Aftermath of Head Shop’s Closing, Police Expect Bath Salts Sales to Go Underground
The 420 Emporium may be closed and its owners headed for prosecution, but police expect synthetic drugs to remain a problem as they hope for more new laws to help them crack down on users and sellers.
Fulton’s 420 Emporium head shop was raided July 25 by federal agents and Fulton police during a nationwide crackdown on synthetic drugs brought about by a new federal law banning them.

ALERT: Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory for Hot, Humid Saturday
The National Weather Service warns that Saturday’s combination of heat, humidity and light winds will make temperatures feel like they’re above 100 degrees Saturday afternoon.
The weather service issued a heat advisory for the area, meaning that heat-related illnesses are possible.

State Route 3 Bridge Construction Project To Begin in Fulton
Beginning on August 7, a new temporary traffic signal, recently installed by the New York State Department of Transportation, will begin regulating traffic at the intersection of State Route 3 (West Broadway) and West Second Street South in the city of Fulton.
