UPDATE #2 The Sheriff’s Office has tentatively identified the victim as a North Carolina resident.
The Oswego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash in West Monroe. The accident happened on County Route 11 near Smith Road. Identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The closed Holly Drive Motel will likely stay that way after Fulton Common Councilors Tuesday cleared up a conflict by saying the property is zoned single-family residential.
