A Fulton family of six is being helped after a furnace fire in their mobile home earlier today (March 25). Red Cross volunteers also assisted a Central Square family of three, who lost all of their belongings in an apartment fire last night (March 24).

At about 10:52 a.m. Thursday, the Fulton Police responded to the K-mart store located at 41 Riverglen Plaza, to investigate the report of an elderly male who exposed his genitals to two small children. The responding officers, acting on information from store employees, located the suspect at the Dollar Tree store next to K-mart.
The State Police in Fulton have arrested Joseph M. Thompson, 42, of 89 Country Lane, Fulton, for three counts of second-degree sexual abuse and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The charges are both Class A misdemeanors.

Mayor Ron Woodward sent a letter to Oswego County’s E-911 Administrator in February to ask that the city fire department be removed from the list of agencies that will respond to what are called Alpha Level EMS Calls.
