Fulton Police have arrested four people for their connection to two separate entries at the former Holy Family Catholic School. The investigation originated Dec. 22 when police were called to St. Dominick’s Center for a reported break-in and vandalism to the property.

At first glance, the $1.2 million increase in aid to Fulton schools in Governor Cuomo’s proposed budget looks like good news. A deeper look shows it’s probably not going to help the district avoid even more staff and program cuts.
“We’re still in a real rough spot,” said Superintendent of Schools Bill Lynch.

It’s not every day someone gets to commemorate his or her 101st birthday. Leta Hartle who will turn 101 on Friday was honored by her Bingo buddies this week. “I’m gonna make it to 102!” the birthday girl vowed.
