Looks like some “hit and miss” showers will hit us – sometime
Looks like we finish August will a short dry spell. Or do we? Depends on where the clouds are.
Later this year, the Fulton Medical Center will open its doors. The center will make use of all of what used to be Lee Memorial Hospital and which has been, since shortly after the hospital closed, the Fulton Urgent Care center.
At the moment, the building is in flux. Dozens of construction workers are busily transforming an old building into a new place.

Hurricane Irene brought a lot of wind but not all that much rain over the weekend. Things look nice for the next several days.
The central area encompassed nearly 18,000 acres in the towns of New Haven, Volney, Hastings, Palermo and Mexico. Aerial spraying began on Tuesday, August 23 with the southern portion of the area and worked in a northerly direction, covering about two-thirds of the area. The remainder was finished tonight before spraying moved to the Dugway area, which included portions of the towns of Albion and Parish.

UPDATE: Police report that Leduc has been found and is okay.
On 08/23/2011 the city of Fulton Police Department commenced an investigation into the disappearance of Richard D. Leduc, DOB: 07/02/1959.
