Oswego County’s unemployment rate continued in May to fall back from its historic highs, but the news behind the numbers is less positive.
A joint investigation between the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Fulton Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a Fulton man who was involved in a murder-for-hire plot.

We escaped the rain Tuesday. But it appears those pesky showers will linger today and perhaps beyond.
A new arts group, Arts Partners, is making plans for the Saturday event to be held from noon to 7pm in Downtown Fulton one block off Rte. 481 overlooking the river. The goal of the Arts Fest is to give local performers and artists another venue to showcase their work and raise funds for CNY Arts Center.
On Friday and Saturday, June 18 and 19, 2011, the Fulton Police Department, in conjunction with the County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addiction (COCOAA), conducted underage drinking enforcement details.
