This fall, Fulton’s city schools will host two special education classes that Oswego County BOCES had previously provided.
The district will conduct one class at Lanigan Elementary School and one at G. Ray Bodley High School for at least ten special education students who require the most intensive services.
June ended with a stretch of nice weather. Let’s see if we can keep things going through the long holiday weekend.
Friday morning, 16.6 jobs that existed in the Fulton City School District this past school year will not exist anymore.
The Fulton Board of Education voted to eliminate the 16.6 positions, a move made necessary by the cuts contained in the district’s 2011-12 budget.
Yesterday was nice and dry. Today should close out the month the same way.
There’ll be many new faces around the table when the Fulton Board of Education holds its next meeting in two weeks.
Three of the board’s seven members said their goodbyes to their colleagues Tuesday night as their terms came to an end.
Batten down the hatches. It looks like more wind and rain on the way.
We escaped rain-free yesterday. But those “hit and miss” thunderstorms are likely to hit us, sometime, today.
