Bell Tower is Back Atop Historic Church

Bristol Hill Church in Volney, with its new bell tower on top.On a recent sunny day, a crane carefully lowered a new bell tower onto the steeple of the Bristol Hill Church in Volney.

When it was snugly in place, the church had its bell tower back, for the first time in decades.

Undercover Alcohol Operation in Fulton Results in Two Arrests

 The purpose of the detail was to attempt to purchase alcohol through the use of an underage agent at various liquor sales locations throughout the city. Attempts were made to purchase alcohol at seven on and off premise locations within the city.

Engineers Explain Broadway Bridge Project

State DOT photo.The state laid out its plans for a two year repair of the deteriorating Broadway bridge in Fulton.  People had lots of questions about the work and how they’ll get around once the work begins.  But a handful of photos made a simple point:  The bridge is in need of repair, now.
