Lawmakers Take Heat Over Notice; Boil Water Advisory May Lift Today
As the mayor and Fulton Common Council explained the situation they faced this past weekend that resulted in a boil water advisory, lawmakers were in hot water with some residents over their approach to public notification. The city is waiting now for test results that could lift the advisory today.

Onondaga County Charge Could Result In Bail Revocation In Oswego County
Andrew J. Stoughtenger, 20, of Oswego was arrested Tuesday in connection with the attempted burglary of a residence in the town of LaFayette. Pending in Oswego County Court, Stoughtenger was indicted in July on 12 counts of second-degree burglary. In light of his recent arrest, the local district attorney’s office may have the opportunity to bring Stoughtenger back to the Oswego County jail.

Guppy Waives To County Court
The case against a Fulton teenager who was arrested after allegedly causing serious injuries to his 18-month-old daughter will see its next days in a grand jury room. Robby J. Guppy, 17, of 604 E. Broadway, upstairs apartment, was slated to appear in Fulton City Court Wednesday. Instead, his attorney waived the charges to Oswego County Court. Guppy has been free on bail since Aug. 18.
