At its meeting Monday night, the Administrative Services Committee approved a request from Harborfest to waive the rental fee at the McCrobie Building for the remainder of 2020.

Mayor Billy Barlow announced today, Feb. 28, he is proposing a $761,000 paving plan for the city of Oswego this summer, building on the over $3 million in paving completed since taking office in 2016.

Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton has issued a Travel Advisory for all of Oswego County beginning at 11 a.m. today, February 27. The advisory will end at 6 a.m. on Sunday, March 1. No unnecessary travel is recommended.

This year’s St. Baldrick’s Day in Oswego County fundraiser is scheduled for March 29 at the Lake Ontario Event & Conference Center in Oswego, running from 1-4 p.m.

On 02/24/2019 at approximately 10:48 a.m., investigators with the Oswego City Police Department’s Criminal investigation division with assistance from the New York State Police, arrested Dwayne F. Arruza, 42, of 97 Center St. apt. 1, Waterloo NY, related to an on-going investigation.

Over the last two weeks, the Oswego Police Department has been investigating complaints of counterfeit money that have been circulated to arious local businesses.
