The city of Oswego has issued a boil water advisory for residents living on West Fourth Street between Erie Street and Niagara Street in the city of Oswego due to a water main break in the area.

University Police at SUNY Oswego arrested Ryan R. Russell, 30, on multiple motor-vehicle felonies and other charges. The Oswego resident was charged Jan. 1 with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, both class E felonies.

In anticipation of severe inclement weather over the next 24 hours, the Oswego County Court has cancelled / adjourned the Grand Jury empanelment scheduled for tomorrow morning (Friday, January 5). The Grand Jury empanelment has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 10, at 10 a.m.
