In its 11th year at SUNY Oswego, the project is part of an annual statewide community-service project by Student-Athlete Advisory Council chapters at some SUNY Athletic Conference colleges. SAAC’s mission is to generate a student-athlete voice among Oswego’s intercollegiate teams and to enhance school spirit within athletics.

Proposed Program Would Give Students More Pathways In TV Production, English

At Tuesday’s Oswego school board meeting, members heard a proposal that would give students interested in the communication field a boost. About a year ago, Jamie Sykut brought forth the idea of Career and Technical Education diploma endorsement – an academic honors program. Thousands Rally In Support Of FitzPatrick

All of the snowplows and other heavy equipment had been removed from the Oswego County Highway Department Garage on Schaad Drive on Monday evening (Oct. 5). Instead, the cavernous facility housed an even more powerful juggernaut. New Youth Court Members Ready To Dispense Teen Justice

Seventeen students from around the county were sworn in on Sept. 22 as the newest members of Oswego County’s Youth Court. Not all of them were able to attend the ceremony. Oswego County Family Court Judge Kim Seager administered the oath at the Oswego County Courthouse on Oneida Street as members of the graduates’ families looked on, many of them taking photographs.
