One of the easiest answers when deciding what to order for dinner is pizza. But, in Oswego, the answer to “where?” isn’t always the easiest to find with such a variety of selections. A large number of pizza joints in Oswego have to fight for business from an overall small market of people. Each restaurant has its own strategy and own products in an attempt to be Oswego’s favorite slice.
Since the 2009-10 season, the Oswego State track and field teams have gone through three head coaching changes, but the program hopes to find stability in the position with their fourth hire, Derek Rousseau. Prior to his first collegiate head coaching position at Oswego, Rousseau worked his way through the ranks as a volunteer coach and assistant coach first at the high school level all the way to his most recent position as an assistant coach for the Merrimack College Warriors last season.

The primary care services of Mexico providers Thomas Hanna, MD and Lorraine Ladd Falanga, NP will be provided at the Oswego location for about six to eight week.
With the shifting of The BUC School to the Education Center the Board of Education will meet at the Oswego High School Media Center (formerly the library). The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Oswego City School District Board of Education will be August 27 with the call to order scheduled for 5 p.m.
Two mosquito pools tested positive for EEE, one in the village of Central Square and the other in the town of West Monroe. Both sites are part of the target area that was sprayed last weekend. The inaugural Oswego Bike Fest will kick start at Oswego Speedway on Friday, providing non-stop entertainment throughout the entire weekend inside the Port City ‘Steel Palace’ oval. While Oswego Bike Fest is geared toward motorcycle enthusiasts, the festival will provide food, drinks, and entertainment for three straight days that will appeal to any and all spectators, not just those with motorcycles.
Four nonprofit organizations that serve the Pulaski area received grants totaling $10,500 from the Pulaski Community Fund. The John Ben Snow Memorial Trust provided seed money in 1991 to establish a charitable fund within the Central New York Community Foundation to benefit the greater Pulaski community.
The USTA Tennis Program teaches basic tennis skills and gives youth a chance to get outside and exercise, said the program’s coordinator. A carnival was held to give them a chance to show off what they’ve learned. The USTA Summer Tennis Program began in 2006 and is run through the Oswego City-County Youth Bureau.
