He was arrested following a fight that occurred at a business in the village of Sandy Creek on March 3. According to sheriff’s deputies, he allegedly punched the victim in the head causing numerous injuries as the victim was on the floor.

The charge stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred in the town of Volney. According to sheriff’s deputies, the trio allegedly participated in the theft of jewelry and a canoe from the residence.

According to the sheriff’s department, he allegedly punched the victim in the head, slapped their face, kicked them and then threatened them with a double bladed sword, this with the victim having a refrain from Order of Protection filed against him.

Under the restoration, seniors on EPIC, the Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage program, would go back to paying no more than $20 co-payments for each prescription instead of paying 25 percent of the cost of the drug.

At its meeting Tuesday night, the Oswego School Board unanimously voted to present a referendum on the May 15 ballot for a large capital project. Voters will be asked to allow the district to spend up to $15 million on the project. The proposed cost of the work at five of the seven schools comes to $14,952,501, according to Superintendent Bill Crist.
