Teen With Paint Ball Gun Charged
A 16-year-old boy was charged this afternoon with unlawful possession of a weapon on school grounds for allegedly having a paint ball gun on school grounds at OMS.

Pauldine’s Fate Rests With The Jury
After deliberating for about four and a half hours the six-person jury told the judge it felt as if they were deadlocked. The judge instructed them to continue deliberations. However, at the end of the day, no verdict had been reached. Deliberations will resume Friday morning.

Pauldine Testifies In His Own Defense
The local businessman accused of sexual abuse took the stand Wednesday in his own defense. When asked by Assistant District Attorney Donald Todd if he sexually abused the teen-age foreign exchange student he was hosting last fall, Anthony M. Pauldine replied, “Absolutely not.â€

Testimony Continues In Pauldine Case
Anthony M. Pauldine’s trial entered its second day Tuesday with continued testimony from the alleged victim. Another teen-aged foreign exchange student, also hosted by the Pauldines last year, also testified as well as the local volunteer coordinator the program.

Oswego Salvation Army Dedicates New Citadel
The Oswego Salvation Army dedicated its new home on Sunday afternoon. Captain Kenneth Hayes and Major Corinne Hayes welcomed huge crowd to the newly renovated Oswego Salvation Army, 73 W. Second St. Approximately 100 people took part in the building dedication ceremony, worship service and tours of the new facility.
