Scene Around Town: Color Returns
The grays and browns of winter and early spring are finally gone. Flowers have poked up from the ground, flowering bushes such as rhododendrons are full of their softball-sized blooms, and trees, like this one in front of Oswego City Hall, remind us that nature comes in all colors.

“Significant action†was seen in the Assembly and Senate regarding the possibility of reopening Fort Ontario as well as several other state parks and historic sites that have fallen victim this spring to the state’s budget morass. It’s possible Oswego’s historic site could be open for Memorial Day Weekend.
