OSWEGO, NY – At about 1:54 p.m. on Thursday, members of the Oswego City Police Department, assisted by members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and a K-9 Unit from the United States Border Patrol, executed a search warrant at 956 Middle Road Lot 6-W Oswego (Scriba).
As a result, police seized 29.2 grams of crack cocaine (with an approximate street value of $2,900) and approximately $1,716 in cash.
Police subsequently arrested 51-year-old Emmanuel A. Frederick of 956 Middle Road Lot 6-W.
He was at the residence at the time the search warrant was executed.
Frederick was later arraigned in Scriba Town Court before Justice Kenneth Adkins on charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (both Class B felonies).
He was remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail / $20,000 bond.
He is to return to Scriba Town Court on July 7.
According to Police Chief Michael J. Dehm, Jr. “The execution of the search warrant and subsequent arrest were based on our on-going investigation into drug activity. I would like to thank the New York State Police Community Narcotic Enforcement Team and the K-9 Unit from the United Stated Border Patrol for assisting us in our operation as well as credit our investigators with a job well done,†said Police Chief Mike Dehm. “I would also continue to request information from citizens in the community.
