FULTON – On August 17, 2026, State Police in Fulton received a report from the Oswego County 911 Dispatch Center regarding threats directed at an Oswego Health medical office in the town of Volney.
An investigation determined that Eric L. Friday, age 41, of Oswego, NY, made threatening statements during telephone calls with staff at Oswego Health ENT on County Route 45A. Staff were subsequently made aware of threatening statements Friday allegedly posted on Facebook.
State Police located Friday at his residence and took him into custody without incident.
Friday was charged with Making a Threat of Mass Harm (Class B misdemeanor). He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Oswego County CAP Court on August 31, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
