The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports that sheriff’s detectives have charged an inmate at Oswego County Jail in connection with last month’s robbery of the Subway restaurant and Kwik Fill gas station.
On Thursday, an Oswego County jury convicted Emmanuel A. Frederick, of Scriba, of three separate counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony, for possessing more than a half an ounce of cocaine and for possessing cocaine and heroin with the intent to sell. Due to his prior felony conviction, Frederick faces a minimum sentence of 2 years and a maximum sentence of 12 years in state prison on each count.
The crash resulted in the arrest of James D Meeker Jr., 19, of 1556 CR 8, Fulton. He was charged with DWI, Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Reckless Driving, Imprudent Speed, Crossing Road Hazard Markings and Failure to Keep Right.
June 2015 goes into the weather record book as not the best we’ve ever had. “It was a cool, dark and rather wet month,” according to Bill Gregway, local observer for the National Weather Service. “It was not a very nice June at all.” It was 1.7 degrees cooler and precipitation was 3.49 inches above average.
