Mayor Tom Gillen cast the deciding vote Thursday night to approve the city’s fire department leasing an ambulance for the next 60 days. The vote was 3-3 with Second Ward Councilor Mike Myers excused. Following the 60 days, the council will review the fire department’s revenue and overtime as a result of the ambulance service prior to making any firm decision regarding the service.
On Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m., investigators with the Oswego City Police Department’s Anti-Crime Team (ACT) detained two individuals at 437 State Route 104 in the city of Oswego.
