State Police Investigate Crash in Town of Schroeppel

Investigation revealed a 2006 Subaru, driven by Adam O. Dix, age 28, from Phoenix, was traveling southbound on County Route 57A in the town of Schroeppel when he allegedly failed to keep right and crossed the double solid line into the northbound lane striking a town of Schroeppel Highway Department truck.

Flooding Eases In Sandy Creek – Town Officials Continue To Urge Caution

Flood waters in the Town of Sandy Creek west of Route 3 along the shoreline of Lake Ontario are beginning to recede today (Jan. 15), town officials reported, but people in the area should continue to use caution and follow flood safety tips. The water has receded about 8 inches overnight following flooding that occurred along North Pond in the Town of Sandy Creek.
