With the holiday season upon us, now is the time to take a few moments to be sure that the season is not only a joyous one, but a safe one. Many households have changes to their usual home décor buy putting up various types of holiday symbols. These should be constantly monitored to make sure they are working properly and within the manufactures specifications.
The five-year plan details what work and purchases the city would like to make in the coming years, and includes the cost and rationale of each. It is a way to keep track of things to ensure the city stays focused on what needs to be done, the mayor said.

UPDATE: Search efforts for the downed drone will resume Wednesday morning. The crash site is about 20 miles northeast of the city of Oswego. The MQ-9 Reaper crashed into the lake during a routine training mission.

Pulling into the platforms just in time for the holidays, the Oswego Valley Railroad Association’s 32nd annual Holiday Express model train show. Located at the Fulton War Memorial, everything train related could be enjoyed here over the weekend. From antique model locomotives traveling through scenic backdrops, to steam blowers, Lego trains, Thomas the Train and memorabilia, the Holiday Express was sure to impress.
