Charges Filed In Oswego Robbery

A suspect has been identified and a criminal charge has been filed as a result of an investigation into a Robbery that occurred at 126 East Oneida St. Oswego on Wednesday. Investigators, following up on leads that were developed, were able to identify 22-year-old Joseph M. Barbera of 228 E. 10th St., Oswego, as a person of interest during the latter afternoon hours of Thursday.

Oswego Teen Charged with Juvenile Delinquency

On Thursday at 5:40 p.m., sheriff’s deputies charged a 15-year-old boy residing in the city of Oswego with Juvenile Delinquency for acts, which if committed by an adult, would have constituted the crimes of Rape, First Degree, a class B felony; Criminal Sex Act, First Degree, a class B felony; and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.

Oswego entrepreneur ‘steps up’ to fight cancer, help local family

Pedestrian struck by vehicle; airlifted to hospital

UPDATE 8 PM:  the investigation determined that a 20-year-old man, identified as Jerimiah B. Johnston, of Oswego, was riding a skateboard in an easterly direction on West Bridge Street, when he entered the roadway and struck a 2005 Buick minivan travelling south on West Second Street, driven by 38-year-old Tracey J. Faul and occupied by five children.

At about 4:40 p.m. today (April 3), emergency crews responded to a personal injury motor vehicle accident near the intersection of West Second and Bridge streets.
