The Canadian company Teti Bakery targeted the Syracuse area for its first American plant and Volney came up the winner.
The company plans to open by mid-2013 and employ 63 people within 3 years, according to Mike Treadwell, executive director of Operation Oswego County, the county’s economic development agency.
Seven-year-old Julian Ross can cross off one of the top items on his Bucket List. On Monday afternoon, Timebuyer donated a Chrysler Town and Country to the Ross family. It is a huge step up from the rusty old vehicle they have been driving nearly 300 miles to the Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia for Julian’s treatments, they said.
At 12:25 this afternoon (Dec. 3), Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence on County Route 25 in the town of Minetto to investigate the report of a missing person. While investigating the matter, deputies were dispatched to another location about one tenth mile away for the report of the discovery of a body of a deceased woman.
On 12/02/12 three men were arrested in connection to a robbery/burglary home invasion that occurred about 1 a.m. on Sunday at a town of Mexico residence. They are accused of breaking into a town of Mexico residence, wearing ski masks and gloves, with one reportedly attacking a male victim, wrestling with him on the porch, while the others entered the home from another access.
