Marching Bucs Start Year on Fine Note
The New York State Field Band Conference commenced the march to the Carrier Dome on Saturday night as high school bands were active throughout Central New York. The Marching Buccaneers headed west to East Irondequoit to compete against two other National Division bands. On Sept. 22, the Oswego High School Marching Buccaneers will host the annual Pageant of Champions.

Oswego County Plans to Conduct Aerial Spraying on Tuesday
Weather permitting, the Oswego County Health Department will conduct aerial spraying on Tuesday. The aerial spray will begin after 6:45 p.m. and continue until the target area has been treated.
OPD Annouces Traffic Advisory for Rookey Funeral Procession
On Tuesday at approximately 7:15 p.m., the funeral procession for SPC Kyle Rookey will proceed from the Oswego County Airport to Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home. The procession will be traveling north on State Route 481. Persons wishing to view the procession are asked to assemble in the lot north of Tim Horton’s on East First Street no later than 7:30 p.m. East Second Street will be closed to traffic between East Bridge and East Oneida streets
