The Port City’s annual Independence Day Parade stepped off at 1 p.m. Sunday and lasted about 90 minutes. Once again, the route traveled west to east. It featured something for everybody from marching bands and fire trucks to colorful floats and and antique cars.
The Salvation Army in Oswego is realigning and expanding its programs. The Fulton Corps of the Salvation Army is now under the direction of the new officers in Oswego and the services units around the county are also under their direction, to encompass the entire county under one umbrella.
Above normal temperatures will be the norm again for a few days.
The money would be used for rehabilitation of existing housing, housing ownership programs, job creation, economic development and more.
