Voters returned an incumbent to the Oswego School Board and one new member. Incumbent Tom DeCastro finished second in the unofficial results just four votes behind Lynda Sereno. Sereno finished with 1,126 and DeCastro with 1,122.

Syracuse Residents Charged In Oswego Drug Bust

At about 9:28 a.m. on today’s date (May 15) members of the Oswego County Drug Task Force and the Oswego City Police Department executed a search warrant in the upper apartment of 89 E. Cayuga St., Oswego, following an investigation into alleged illegal drug activity. Two Syracuse residents were charged.

She will join honorees from across the state at a special ceremony in the Senate Chamber and at a reception at the State Capitol Tuesday evening.
