Due to a breakdown at the K-1 well, discolored water has entered the Fulton water system on the east side. The well was taken off line and will remain so until adequate repairs are made.
The theme for this year’s Memorial Day Salute Parade is “America……..Worth Fighting For.” Many area individuals, organizations, businesses and industries will try to develop their interpretation of this theme in the vehicles or floats they will enter in the parade on May 26.
Tuesday’s round of “yes” votes on school budgets was excellent news for Fulton’s Public Library.
In fact, people apparently felt so strongly about the library that the proposition to allow it to raise $170,000 from taxpayers passed by a larger margin than did the school budget and two other propositions on the ballot.
